Job Description

The Project Manager is capable to organize and lead the whole lifecycle  of HTM (High Tech Manufacture) and warehouse logistics  projects. The role will assume responsibility for the overall success of the projects quality by setting targets, supervising project GC, subcontractors, and ensuring they are attained.

Effective Project Managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mind-set and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in construction operations planning are also essential for the role.

The goal is to ensure our projects will meet and exceed project quality expectations and goals.

  • Perform as the commission manager ensuring commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
  • ensuring service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment
  • Strong relationships are developed with clients and cross-functional team members
  • Work as an effective team member within the context of delivering a specific commission
  • Key information and data is effectively shared and appropriately retained
  • Preparing Project Management reports.
  • Interfacing with the client and other Project Managers, at all project stages
  • Working with Senior Project Manager, Associate Directors and Directors to construct proposals for new work or variations for existing projects
  • Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
  • Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
  • Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan
  • Advising upon the procurement of resources
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
  • Managing the change control process
  • Monitoring and advising upon project finances
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Quality Control – Ensuring compliance with quality standards and participation in ISO audits

Qualifications

  • A recognized university degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience for industrial manufacture, data centre project experience preferred
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations (PMP or 1st national PM certificate is preferred)
  • Excel in communication with different parties and problem-solving
  • English can be the working language
  • Candidate must be willing to travel or based in projects occasionally 
  • Experience in the consulting realm is a plus
