Job Summary
- Reporting to the Construction Manager, the system supervisor will be responsible for supervising a section of works in a project. Each employee is required to cooperate with Exyte management and comply with Exyte rules and procedures, which will help to attain our Incident Free workplace objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections with subcontractors.
- Direct and supervise day to day operations of subcontractors ensuring appliance of common operational procedures.
- Ensure all work is completed according work scope.
- Responsible for approving of the respective method statements and the like, necessary for the completion of the project
- Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Company’s Policy and in compliance with OHSAS 18001 management system.
- Maintain quality and environmental control procedures.
- Create and maintain good relations with clients and design teams as well as any other stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity related to projects to enable traceability.
- Coordinate with the subcontractors in punch list clearance raised by Exyte & Client.
- Responsible for liaising with the client counterparts with respect to obtaining client approvals where necessary.
- Supports handing over the respective systems to the client.
- Check the drawings produced by the engineers and drafting personnel as per site conditions.
- Check vendor supplied drawings and/or information and co-ordinate transfer into project drawings
- Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders for the purpose of receiving instructions, answering questions, scheduling work, carrying out assignments and providing information about work in progress
- Coordinates activities for the purpose of ensuring safety and security of employees and property and to minimize the exposure to injury, loss and/or liability
- Oversees assigned area (e.g. work area, vehicles, tools, equipment, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring all are maintained in safe, clean and good working condition in accordance with accepted standards
- Diagnoses problems and/or failures in responsible systems and/or related equipment for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or system repair and replacement needs.
- Responds to emergencies for the purpose of addressing immediate safety and health concerns.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relative working experience. Semiconductor, TFT-LCD, government, and/or data center facility or manufacturing project experience is required.
- College graduated.
- Good skills with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project are preferred.
- Highly driven and hard working with high standards for themselves and others.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and judge competing deadlines effectively, remaining calm under pressure.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and to follow directions.
- Excellent customer relation and effective oral and written communication skills
