CSCE owns the strategic and systematic development, standardization, implementation, and measurement of key central engineering functions to drive efficiency, reliability, and world class cost optimization to support our global facilities portfolio. The scope of the Central Engineering Organization within Corporate Services consists of asset management, cost engineering, enabling growth, and automation.
As an RDSM (Research, Development, Sales and Marketing), Data Centers and Labs Electrical Engineer you are responsible to:
- Define solutions that will enable Cost Efficiencies to RDSM/Labs/DCs.
- Ensure reliability in RDSM/Labs/DCs Electrical Power Distribution Systems by proposing (in a structured way) improvements/solutions in this domain.
- Document RDSM/Labs/DCs standards and processes for Electrical systems scope.
- Standardize Metrics/KPPs for Power Distribution Systems.
- Write and get approval for white papers as needed to implement/change POR solutions/Systems for RDSM/DCs/Labs.
- Partner with GW engineers (via CSET/JEM/JET/etc) to deploy reliability and efficiency initiatives.
- Implement reliability audits for RDSM/Labs/DCs Electrical systems.
- Work in partnership with Local CS engineers to ensure reliability goals are achieved.
- Participate, lead and document WIF scenarios to propose technical solutions to new requirements.
- Lead efforts to maximize our assets for RDSM/DCs/Labs towards the defined goals and benchmarks for Electrical systems.
- Provide support to local CS teams to solve problems as required.
- Contribute to Reliability Audits design (Process, Standards, Risks, Prioritization) for RDSM/DCs/Labs domain with the goal to identify key risks/gaps and propose a roadmap to address those gaps, including a high level ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude).
- Partner with CE and GW teams to propose Energy Conservation efforts to meet Intel RISE goals.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (with 6+ years of experience) or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (with 4+ years of experience).
Experience should be in the following:
- Operations/sustaining in RDSM/DCs/Labs power distribution systems.
- Construction projects.
- Customer facing experience developing scope of work.
- Effective use of BMS (Building Management Systems) for both Operations and proactive identification of potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years power distribution systems such as switchgear, transformers, UPS, PDUs, etc.
- 2+ years of experience using Data Analytics for Reliability and/or Cost Efficiencies.
- 2+ years of experience on statistical methods, including Statistical Process Control.
- 2+ years of experience in implementing changes to achieve efficiencies in RDSM/Labs/DCs domain.
- 1+ year of experience in Copy Exactly Practices.
- 2+ years of experience in Excel, AutoCAD and JMP.
- Knowledge of key benchmarks for RDSM/DCs/Labs, like PUE or Construction Costs/KW or Operational Costs/KW, etc.
- 1+ year designing electrical systems for Labs and DCs.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical systems standards definition.
- 2+ years of experience in using and getting approvals for White Papers, following Change Control Board process.
- 2+ years Industrial Controls (OT) Information. Security knowledge, experience/acumen.
