With CSG expanding its charter to deliver a new series of dies for Intel, this new product line will be developed by CSG. This new die series is part of Intel Architecture and implements platform features to provide enhanced user experience.
In this role, you would help to bring up a new SOC design, and the associated engineering flows and processes, with opportunities for new innovations, novel problem-solving, and enabling a new product in the CSG platform portfolio.
The position is two-fold responsibility - building on technical expertise of building SoCs for front-end, and site leadership role for CSG-CR which includes not only SoC functions but also some of IP functions.

• As the SoC Front-end manager, you will be responsible for successful delivery of SoC front-end for LCHs including integration, validation, readiness for backend as measured through various quality checks via TFMs. In this role, you will manage the team through the specific tasks associated with SoC front end milestone releases with expected quality.
• As the CSG-CR Site Leader, you will act as a peer-plus-one to all CSG-CR managers and will represent CSG-CR in CSG staff for all Hiring, GPTW and Leadership events, any site-specific operations that need CSG engagement

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must possess a Bachelors in Electrical, Computer or any related engineering field Engineer and 12+ years of experience or Masters degree in Electrical, Computer or related engineering field with 8+ years of experience in:

• SOC-level design/ integration and/or validation
• RTL quality checks
• Simulation-based debug (VCS, Verdi, DVE)
• System Verilog / OOP, OVM, UVM
• Computer Architecture
• Engineering tools, flows, methodologies

Candidate must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica
Advanced English level
