***Job Summary***

The Senior Consultant (PM) will be based in Guangzhou and prepared to undertake internal and international travel as required. Working with the rest of Impactt team to develop and deliver high quality project work and develop and manage their own team, the Senior Consultant will have responsibility for advising on various projects from child labour remediation to improvements in HR systems to training. You will assume the overall management of several client portfolios. Knowledge and experience of working in HR/Productivity/Quality and CSR is preferred. The balance between HR/Productivity/Quality and CSR required will depend on the quality of applicant.

***Job Description***

The Senior Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of project management and delivery, including, but not limited to:

• Lead various CSR capacity building projects for workers, factories and international companies on supply chain labour standard issues in China
• Lead Impactt projects such as audits, training and factory improvement projects
• Develop materials, guidelines and tools to implement various projects
• Develop marketing materials as required
• Write clear and concise proposals, reports and other works in English and Chinese
• Liaise with our UK offices, local and international clients and partners
• To liaise with clients, suppliers and other external stakeholders relating to progress on and delivery of desired improvements
• Develop new business with new clients, develop and maintain excellent client relationships
• Delivers accurate work including paying attention to detail and works to achieve ‘right first time’ in their work
• Demonstrating strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic advice to clients
• Support other consultants to deliver their own projects

***Qualifications and Experience***

• An undergraduate university degree or above, with at least 3 years project management experience
• At least 8 years of experience in the CSR field; Labor intensive industry factory and/or consultancy work with HR/Productivity/Quality is strongly preferred
• Proven sound knowledge of labour issues and solutions, experience in topics of human resources and is preferred
