Our global CTO ambassadors help in transformation to an agile delivery model and support adoption of the strategic tools & platforms through facilitating the IT community and encouraging sharing code, services and best practices.

DevOps working model plays an important role in achieving this ambition. Therefore, we want to employ a senior DevOps Engineer to support the teams in transformation to a DevOps operating model.

Your tasks will be:

• Acting as a Single Point of Contact for knowledge and guidance about DevOps technologies, platforms and transformation processes within Daimler Truck AG
  
• Define together with the CTO and Ambassadors the DevOps strategy and support other teams adapt to the defined working model
  
• Establishing a collaboration model with DevOps toolchain service providers to make sure that the services stay up to date and in line with the SLAs
  
• Closely follow-up progress in the DevOps Technologies and keep the organization up to date with the relevant improvements through updating the toolchain radar and performing PoCs
  
• Acting as a link between Enterprise Architecture team, IT Application teams and the infrastructure service providers to support the transformation to the DevOps operating model
  
• Supporting adaptation of policy and procedures in collaboration with Information Security and Data Protection teams to ensure a secure and reliable transformation to DevOps delivery model
  
• Establishing awareness/training activities to enable understanding and transformation capabilities in IT teams
  
• Support the global DevOps ambassador team and the IT community to leverage knowledge exchange and share best practices
