OBJECTIVES
- To provide excellent IS support to Amgen’s user community
- Operates primarily within Korea and provides an interface between site(s) and IS org.

POSITION SPECIFIC TASKS
Roles and responsibilities of the DWX (digital work experience) Team members
- Management of local IS Operations
- Partnership with Infrastructure teams
- Local vendor management and procurement
- Assists during emergencies and major incidents
- Operational excellence
- Provides consultancy in technical area to customers
- Delivers IS training and communication to local clients
- Identifies support process improvement actions
- Identifies and follows-up issues for local applications and systems
- Applies IS Strategy in the technical area
- Makes sure country infrastructure related requests always dealt with according to IS governance model
- Leverages global and cross country solutions through virtual technical teams
- Ensures delivery of technical solutions to business, either globally or locally managed;
Roles and responsibilities of Virtual Teams
- Represents countries in technical projects
- Specific technical requirements
- Specific support requests and change management
- Local training needs
- Participates in definition of common answers
- Definition of technical standards
- Definition of support processes
- Development of training material
Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintains knowledge of IS quality and compliance policies, SOPs and associated documents
- Creates and contributes to development and maintenance of relevant policies, SOPs and associated documents for IS
- Ensures compliance with Amgen’s corporate regulatory requirements e.g. SOX, GxP, Data Privacy, Data Security
- Supports, participates in and responds to questions and findings from regulatory and other audits
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- College degree or equivalent industry experience
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Working technical knowledge of the following:
- Hardware fundamentals
- OS fundamentals, web technologies
- Network/infrastructure fundamentals
- Client server fundamentals
- Ability to apply risk based approach to manage Computer Related Systems
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles
- Experience in project management
- Experience in vendor/contractor management
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Preferred Requirements
- Experience of pharmaceutical industry and exposure to working in regulated environments
- Excellent knowledge of business area processes and operations
- Knowledge of IT systems used in business area
- Knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL v3)
