798 ICAF invites you to apply for a unique, paid opportunity to travel to Beijing and be part of one of the largest children’s arts festivals in China!

The 4th 798 ICAF will be held outdoors in Beijing’s renowned 798 Arts District in early June 2017. “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind” is the theme and we’re particularly looking for proposals for:

- Large scale interactive installations
- Performance / Dance / Music workshops and performances
- Movement-based arts workshops

Ideally these proposals could be suitable for one or more of the below:

- Lots of children participating at one time
- A wide age range of children
- Families participating all together

For selected artist proposals, we cover:

- Travel to /from Beijing
- Accommodation during the festival period
- Visa costs
- Daily artist fee

We’re also keen to hear from artists interested in teaching arts workshops online or willing to stay a bit longer and get involved with some of our other projects, including regular children’s arts centre activities, teaching artist residencies, drama / design / multimedia art camps, teacher training & curriculum development, schools outreach events, China Children’s Book Expo activities etc.
