We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cambridge English teacher to join our senior high school team, focusing on preparing students for Cambridge English examinations and university-level academic readiness.
Position Overview
• Target Grades: Grades 10–12 (Senior High School)
• Role: Responsible for delivering rigorous Cambridge English curriculum to students preparing for IGCSE, A-Level, or equivalent Cambridge pathway examinations.
Job Description
• Teaching Load: 22–25 teaching periods per week
• Office Hours: Total workload of 40 hours per week (including teaching time)
• Class Size: Small classes of 18–25 students
• Period Duration: 40 minutes per class
• Curriculum: Cambridge IGCSE / A-Level English or equivalent Cambridge syllabus
Job Requirements
• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE / A-Level) or equivalent international senior high school English programs; valid teaching certification required
• Nationality: Teachers from native English-speaking countries are preferred
• Skills: Proven ability to prepare students for Cambridge examinations; strong academic writing and critical thinking instruction; familiarity with Cambridge assessment objectives and mark schemes
• Additional: Cambridge teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, PGCE) or Cambridge examiner experience is highly desirable
Compensation & Benefits
• Monthly Salary: RMB 25,000 – RMB 35,000 (Before tax), commensurate with Cambridge teaching experience and qualifications
