Specifically, the position involves developing embedded software supporting Camera, camcorder and multimedia functions of CDMA, UMTS, and GSM handsets. * Camera end-to-end use case design and feature implementation * Debugging and resolution with existing code base * Cooperating with global development teams * Cooperating with external customers * Onsite customer support

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
2+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

2 - 5 years experience on android camera development area. Strong knowledge of and experience in Linux Kernel, Device Driver Model Strong C & C++ programming and debugging skills required. Experience in Linux camera sensor driver bring-up. Experience in Camera framework Experience in Camera ISP pipeline Experience in Camera performance and power optimization Knowledge of 3A algorithms, tuning experiences and familiarity with MIPI, I2C, GPIOs, V4L2 a plus. Experience on Image Signal Processing. Experience in Multimedia software development engineering for Linux based embedded systems. Strong communication skills - able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner. Willing travel to customer sites and other Qualcomm office locations to co-develop next generation smartphones. Exceptional English communication skill. Outgoing, positive and optimistic personality
