Campus Development Manager

Office of the Comptroller

The appointee will be required to supervise a team of staff to:

(a) plan and supervise all campus development projects, including preparing funding applications to the University Grants Committee, liaising with Government Departments, architects and other project consultants and supervising the contractors for all project works;

(b) serve as the Safety Officer of the University;

(c) serve as the Secretary to the Campus Development and Management Committee, and Health and Safety Committee.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:

(i) a recognized Degree and/or professional qualifications in Building Surveying, Structural/Civil/Building Services Engineering or other related discipline;

(ii) at least 10 years of professional experience, preferably with good experience in leading capital projects in sizable organization;

(iii) strong interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills and be able to communicate fluently with people of all ranks in Chinese and English in both written and spoken form.

Applicants with experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
