This position is the most Sr Human Resources role in Canada for Intel and reports to the VP of Business HR Operations. The role is responsible for all things HR across all of Intel's Canadian locations.
The successful candidate will help foster a culture of resiliency, implement corporate HR programs, and align Intel business policies and guidelines in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. A growth mindset is necessary to build an HR culture of agility and innovation from the start where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries for the good of Intel.
This position will require strong partnerships with COEs, multiple Business Units in the geo, and others to support a talent ramp integrating top internal and external talent.
Responsible for delivering proactive and effective HR solutions to employees, managers and leaders to address organizational and employee challenges.
Coordinates complex stakeholder relationships and implements systems that address business needs.
Assesses intangible variables to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major functional areas.
Possesses in-depth knowledge across HR disciplines, business strategies, and the company's goals.
Creates a culture of agility and innovation where ideas for growth are encouraged for the good of Intel.
Supports the transformation of the Business HR organization into a strategic learning organization that aligns to principles, efficiency and upskilling across Business HR.
Understands local legislations, benefits and cultures.
Acts as an escalation point for Ask HR across all regional HR related topics, working closely with the HR COEs
Coaches' managers and employees on performance management, career counseling, and employee relations issues, including legal and regulatory compliance issues.
Champions diversity initiatives for the country and helps to execute employee engagement initiatives.
The HR Leader plays a critical role in weaving the HR narrative together for the country.
In close partnership with global stakeholders, they identify and execute critical HR initiatives to further business strategies while accelerating Intel's efforts in attracting, retaining, developing, and engaging the best talent.
The HR Leader also acts as a culture steward across the country, guiding and coaching employees and managers on Intel's values and cultural tenets.
The HR Leader plays a critical role in the country to further Intel's vision of creating world-changing technologies that improves the lives of every person on the planet.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must possess at least one of the following:
Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 9+ years related experience.
M.B.A, Master of Science degree, or a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 6+ years related experience.
10+ years of experience in the following will be considered in lieu of a degree:
Employee Relations.
Organization Diagnosis and Design.
Leadership Development or Coaching.
HR Basics: Training and Development, performance management, change management.
