Mercedes-Benz AG plays a leading role in the field of connected services for vehicles. Due to the increasing share of software in vehicles, the legal requirements are also increasing, especially in the area of cyber security.

As a CarIT Security Architect IT-Backend you will design the Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) for the Mercedes-Benz Vans division in cooperation with our stakeholders based on the requirements of the new regulation UN R155.

A day in the life:


• Process design and operation of the Cyber Security Management System (CSMS) according to the new regulation UN R155 for Mercedes-Benz Vans (focus on IT backend /carIT offboard)
  
• Implementation of processes, standards and policies from CSMS for Mercedes-Benz Vans
  
• Development of security standards and performing security profiles for services and applications
  
• Ensuring appropriate administrative, physical and technical security are in place to protect information assets from internal and external threats
  
• Support of risk assessments and analyses as well as derivation of measures for risk control and minimization of risks
  
• Participation in incident response activities, including mitigation and remediation strategies
  
• Identification and development of security measures for weak points and threats in services and applications
  
• Implementation of carIT Security Awareness Sessions
  
• Participation in various committees and working Groups
