A home-based preschool is looking for a smart and reliable maid / class assistant to support the class operation. The responsibilities include:
- Serve meals according to the health standards of the school and wash and sanitize dishes
- Daily house cleaning and maintain the sanitary standards
- Prepare and organize Montessori classroom materials and environment according to the instructions
- Assume the role of teaching assistant as needed to support children’s learning experiences by preparing materials, watching and supporting children as directed
- Support children’s daily life and work routines such as toilet needs, napping, dressing and meals
- Take pictures of the class and prepare learning materials as directed
- Look after the pet and plants
- Observe the school rules and procedures

Qualifications
- This role is ideal for a highly-experienced house keeping lady who is interested in growing into a teaching assistant in an educational environment or someone who has assumed a similar role in a preschool classroom
- Highly organized and enjoy maintaining an orderly environment and working with standardized procedures
- Hands-on, meticulous with details and have high sanitary standards
- Smart, diligent and able to respond to needs in a timely fashion
- Willing to learn Montessori teaching methodologies and to interact with children based on the teaching philosophies and methods
- Able to prioritize when multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Love children and enjoy working in a preschool environment
- Can commit to work for a long term, at least through mid July 2021
- Gentle and low profile
- Have a good record of career reputation within and outside China (Reference check and police-record check)

You will be working in a traditional Beijing courtyard close to Dongzhimen. The work time is 8:15-7:30 Mon-Fri. Work lunch is provided. Monthly performance bonus of 200-1000. Aside from paid public holidays, paid winter and summer holidays of up to two months annually, depending on performance, are rewarded to those who have successfully completed the service of the entire academic year!
