What will I be doing?

As a Carpentry, you will support the Engineering Department to properly maintain operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance and energy conservation. Specifically, a Carpenter will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform general carpentry work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
• Complete the Guest room maintenance schedule on time
• Make regular inspection tours and complete any necessary repairs in the public areas and back-of-house areas
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas to ensure each is in proper working condition
• Follow all Health & Safety rules within the Department and the hotel
• Demonstrate great customer service when meeting any guests

What are we looking for?

Carpentry serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Previous carpentry experience within a hotel, preferred
• A trade qualification (proof of qualification may be required) as a Carpenter
• A good working knowledge of general maintenance work and Guest room repairs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
• Strong work ethic
• A passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day
