The Opportunity:

We are looking for two Case Managers, one on a 12month and 6month fixed term contract to join our high performing Claims team at AIA.

The Case Manager is responsible for the assessment and ongoing management of claims and risk exposure for AIA. This is achieved through outstanding stakeholder management, excellent communication and critical thinking. You will be focused on delivering exceptional customer experience in line with the claims philosophy of looking to pay all legitimate claims.

About the Role:

  • Managing the assessment of a high volume, end to end claims portfolio.
  • The assessment and ongoing management of claims and risk exposure to AIA.
  • Verify critical information and match against policy terms and conditions to determine validity.
  • Liaise with appropriate medical providers, financial providers and external parties.
  • Develop Individual Management Plans for clients to establish agreed goals, actions and timeframes.
  • Implement appropriate rehabilitation referrals and follow through of recommendations as required.
  • Maintain regular and proactive contact with clients, advisers and any other relevant stakeholder.
  • Process payments for claims accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Be proactively involved with process improvement ideas.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor.

About you:

  • Previous Claims experience (preferred).
  • Insurance experience (advantage)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilience, have an inquisitive mind, be empathetic and an excellent communicator.
  • Ability to be adaptable, a self-starter and have the ability to have challenging conversations with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong computer skills and using CRM databases.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
