They guide the art and science, merging with a deft hand, a confluence of creative acumen and strategic intent to create something uniquely modern. They contribute to the start of the chain reaction culturally.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a Seoul Catalyst Marketing Manager, you will be part of the Seoul Catalyst Brand Management function, reporting directly to the Seoul Catalyst Brand Management Director. In this role your core duties will include:

* Create visionary marketing concepts and narratives for identified Seoul catalysts which push the boundaries of creativity and sport and advance the notion of sport culture in Seoul, permeating visionary citizens throughout the Globe

* Drive planning and execution of identified catalyst marketing concepts with internal stakeholders, managing the external catalysts in partnership with Catalyst relationship team

* Drive integration with NHBD (Neighborhood) and SNKRS (Sneakers) team to ensure the Catalyst Brand Architecture and Catalyst Launch calendar informs the NHBD and SNKRS journey

* Gather structured and continuous visionary consumer insights to allow us to better serve Visionary members in Seoul, and to feed back to APLA (Asia Pacific & Latin America) / Global in order to help longer-term & seasonal concepts

* Partner with the Catalyst Relationships to identify and talent scout the next generation of cultural catalyst leaders in Seoul

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

In this role you will work with the Catalyst Brand Management teams in Seoul, APLA and Global, always with a growth mindset to contribute towards a World-class Catalyst team.

You will work cross functionally in the Seoul office, particularly with the Brand Management function and the Seoul Brand Creative Studio, but also with key partners such as sports marketing and SCI, aligning on roles & responsibilities, to bring your visionary concepts to life.

And you will of course build strong external relationships with key catalysts in the city.

The shape of your day-to-day work will vary significantly, and therefore your style and influence will have to adapt accordingly. You must be consistently collaborative and open to the opinions and expertise of those you engage with.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand and/or brand functional management with ideally a strong focus on cross functional marketing

* Prior experience of story telling marketing and culture marketing highly preferred 

* Prior marketing experience in Seoul and a demonstrable understanding of the Visionary consumer, the city and Nike’s position within it

* Prior execution of cross functional brand campaigns

* Proven track record of marketing experience, working with or in cultural industries generating influential global outcomes

* Proven experience identifying, owning and managing external relationships with thought leaders in Seoul aligned to Nike’s strategic objectives

* A desire & willingness to adapt in an agile fashion to our Visionary consumers’ and organization’s needs to deepen our relationships with members

* Proficiency in Korean and English
