The Southern Europe Purchasing Department is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and promoting its product and service offer, which must cover almost 100% of the food and non-food purchasing needs of Accor hotels and its partners.
This entity is in the midst of a transformation: this change is based on our ability to ensure :

Objectives :
For you : Develop and animate the purchasing categories by selecting the best companies for our clients. Develop the business of your categories by meeting the needs of our customers, in relation with the global purchasing team and the various Accor teams
For Astore : To become the European leader in central purchasing
We are recruiting a Category Manager Construction & Renovation to join the Direct Procurement Organization. Based at the Accor Headquarter in Issy les Moulineaux, the role will report to the Technical and FF&E Procurement Director.
What will you do for the categories you will manage?
- Manage your categories, and project
- Implement solutions creating value, cost savings and durable to meet stakeholders’ expectations
- Prepare & carry-out negotiations to deliver on saving targets and conclude contracts with suppliers
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Develop relationship and capture feedback from stakeholders (Hotels & Head Office) on future needs and participate to continuous improvement projects
- Promote the Accor Procurement with all our hotels partners, increasing our purchasing power and helping grow procurement EBIT contribution
- Collaborate daily with Procurement team GPO members (SE and WW)
- Exchange best practices & tools beyond the region with his Procurement peers
What kind of talent are we looking for?
- Senior profile: 5 years minimum of purchasing experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- International background is key for us
- Customer focus – interest to always improve level of service to different stakeholders (guest, hotels & other internal stakeholders)
- Result-Oriented – showing energy and drive to exceed targets, whilst maintaining integrity & ethical standards
- Strong commercial sense & ability to build relationships
- A fast learner – Showing agility, curiosity and passion to discover new things
- A team player – Autonomous, while always ready to participate to projects and help colleagues
- Required language skills: fluent in French and English -Other language is a plus (Italian, Spanish or Portuguese)
- Flexibility to travel 2 or 3 times a month all over the SE Hub
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably
