• Lead/contribute to establishing CLD platform including expression hosts, vector systems, and screening technologies

• Lead/conduct plasmid/expression vector construction and optimization, and CHO host cell line engineering

• Lead/conduct CHO cell line generation in accordance of regulatory guidance

• Manage/coordinate CLD resources and strategic planning to support early and late stage projects.

• Design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, write development reports

• Drive innovation through deep understanding of new technologies and methods in cell line development

• Coordinate and collaborate with Discovery and other CMC functions and develop strategies to meet project as well as corporate timelines

• Contribute to the IND filings

Requirements:

1. BS/BA or MS or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field. Number of years of industry experience commensurate with job titles

2. Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular cloning techniques

3. Experience in expression of monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, Fc-fusions and other therapeutic proteins

4. Versatile in techniques including DNA/RNA isolation, molecular cloning, PCR, protein expression and purification

5. Extensive knowledge and experience in IND filing

6. Extensive knowledge and skills in molecular and cellular biology. Protein/cell engineering preferred

7. Strong communication and problem-solving skills

8. Strong working knowledge/understanding of CHO expression systems

9. Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment

10. Responsible, organized and disciplined record keeping

11 Self-motivated, collaborative, and effective communication skill
