The intern supports analysis for the Purchasing department and Purchasing/Quality Specialist on capacity verification topics. The intern will also be exposed to KPI management for Purchasing for the entire NAFTA region.

The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Reviewing and processing Purchasing KPIs.
• Follow up on overdues.
• Reviewing audit topics, data analysis.
• Planning supplier visits for best practice analysis.
• Creating minutes and LOPs out of best practice exercises.
• Follow up on measures at suppliers.
• Assist purchasing and QMP engineers as needed.

• Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
• Have full-time status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours / week).
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT. 
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term. 
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (January 3rd until May 6th).
