We are pleased to offer a six-month internship starting in or about March 2020 at BMW of North America, LLC.

Central Region Intern

Sales

• Conduct industry research and evaluate dealer performance to identify trends and develop recommended opportunities for improvement by dealer/market/region.
• Utilize BMW Group tools to analyze data, create reports, and assist Area Team including collaboration with department heads. 
• Interact with the Area Team to monitor best practices and assist with external presentations and communications.
  

Marketing

• Participate in event planning and on-site execution including setup, registration, tear down and post-event recap presentation preparation.
  
• Conduct monthly website reviews to ensure BMW websites align with corporate identity.
  
• Observe the marketing collaboration process to better understand how media, creative development, digital, and experiential work together to drive BMW business.
  
• Assist with vehicle administration and marketing fleet logistics.
  

Center Development

• Exposure to Future Retail Facility processes and documents including preparing Executive Summaries and Facility Checkout Lists, tracking milestones, participating in project calls and communicating with vendors.
  

Training

• Emersion into BMW Group technologies.
  
• Create training fill reports (i.e., ensuring 100% class capacity).
  
• Attend and support all Regional technician recruitment events.
  
• Projects will include hands-on mechanical tasks such as setting up technical training classes.

Student status meeting one or more of the areas below:

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s Studies during Junior/Senior year (years 3 or 4).
  
• Enrolled in Master’s Studies Program.
  
• Graduated no more than 12 months prior to internship start date.
  
• Availability to work full time for six months.
  

Preferred Requirements:

• We are looking for someone that is open minded, eager to learn, has a savage work ethic, strong attention to detail, collaborates well with others, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an interest in cars and the automotive industry in general.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word and analytical skills are a must.
  
• Availability to work full time for six months.
