Job Description
PLS NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES MECHANICAL/ENGINEERING BACKGROUND.
Overall, Purpose of the Role:
Support encompasses a wide array of activities, processes, and demands a dedicated personnel designed to assist the sales team throughout the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to post-sale follow-up. The primary goal is to unburden sales representatives from non-selling tasks, allowing them to focus their valuable time and energy on direct customer engagement, negotiation, and closing deals.
To acts as a critical liaison, ensuring seamless coordination between sales and other departments, such as marketing, legal, product, and customer service. Essentially, sales support enables a faster, more efficient, and more customer-centric sales process.
Most important Key Responsibilities (KPI):
- Supporting the Marine and Land based business providing the sales personel with fast and correct quotation or other documents needed.
- Organize collected documentation and information from surveys on vessles and the sales process in a systematick and correct way (electronic as well as hard copies).
- Organize and prepare for drydocks and installation during crusing to secure that right action is taken in a timely manner, before, during and after the installation and provide professional inhouse support from office during installation.
E.g., Installation scheme.
Handling of varrious documents needed for Surveys, Installations and other related documernst for the installation business on Land or at Sea.
Customer Communication and Relationship Management:
- Faster Sales Cycles and Improved Conversion Rates.
- Scheduling Meetings: Coordinating and scheduling meetings, demonstrations, and follow-up calls between sales representatives and prospects/clients, managing calendars efficiently.
- Post-Sale Follow-up: Conducting routine check-ins, gathering initial feedback, or processing simple reorders after a sale is closed, ensuring continued client satisfaction
- Eensures that prospects and customers receive prompt, accurate, and consistent communication. Focus to attention to detail build trust and strengthen relationships. Seamlessly transition from a pre-qualified lead to a well-informed discussion, that signals professionalism and efficiency, contributing to a superior customer journey.
Self-Management
- Support, comply with and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures
- Proactively contributes to creating a good team atmosphere
- Focused target driven with a positive, can-do attitude.
