Job Description
Position Description: The NA IDG Certification Program Manager is a key role on the IDG Sales Learning & Development Team. This role ensures that Lenovo internal and Business Partner sales have the most current messaging, product skills and solutions skills and can apply the necessary knowledge to drive growth in the IDG market. Key Responsibilities • Research and analyze the needs of internal sales, business partners, support organizations and other stakeholders to determine the knowledge, skills and abilities that should be certified • Experience organizing and leading successful working groups for job task analyses, item writing and development workshops, question writing training, item reviews, and standard setting sessions • Coordinate with Lenovo leaders and partners to define and manage the benefits associated with the certification program • Build, maintain and support exams and reporting requirements • Project manage the entire lifecycle of the certification programs from initiation, design, development, maintenance, support and retirement • Apply expertise and knowledge of industry standards to the certification programs • Lead the development of relevant, valid, technically accurate and defensible certification exams and follow‐up with psychometric quality assurance reviews • Create and maintain program documents including policies, procedures, exam blueprints, student and trainer tutorials, voucher logs, reports, etc. • Ensure the highest level of service by effectively managing vendors and supporting students and trainers • Implement and maintain communications with leadership, stakeholders, partners and students • Research and analyze new trends in certification and accreditation programs and bring new ideas to management #### Position Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree minimum • Formal training or education in Instructional Design, Education, Psychometrics, or Computer Science • 5+ years successfully leading the development of technical certification exams in the IT industry • Expert knowledge of the psychometric review process applied in the development of IT or technical certification exams • 5+ years of IT or Instructional Design Project Management experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives cross‐functionally • Comfortable working in a fast-growing environment while adapting to and introducing change • Experience developing a Certification Program for an IT or technical organization from the ground‐up is a plus • Experience managing and partnering with certification and proctoring vendors • PMP Certified a plus Why Lenovo?
