The Strategy & Execution team supports our IT teams to align their objectives and key results to deliver the IT2025 strategic priorities. As the Change Manager you will support the Change Management Lead with transformational change governance and identification of how change effects IT and AZ functions. This will include supporting the design and implementation of processes that ensure effective collaboration between cross functional, multi skilled teams, promoting alignment and integration and support to ensure successful adoption and consumption of process, organizational and technology changes

Accountabilities:

  • You will support the Strategy & Execution Change Management Lead with execution, governance and communications of transformational change and contribute to the design of governance and controls reporting against program/project status and risks.

  • Responsible for analysis and reports, on change goal performance and defining strategies to reinforce desired behaviours/actions and recognize or promote successes / key learning

  • You will leverage enterprise frameworks and methodologies to deliver change management support for key initiatives & strategic programs and lead/provide support to smaller BAU change projects or programs and change initiatives including providing coaching and capability building

  • Developing and maintaining the IT Change Management playbook will be key – aligned to AZ enterprise Change Management standards and drives consistent adoption and capability build across teams involved in Change activities and programs

  • In relation to communication and engagement you will play a key role in activities such as, but not limited to, Pulse & IT Excellence, delivering concise communication to summarise the current change initiative / program status and immediate priorities

  • Working closely with the Strategy & Execution Communications Lead to provide content and vision for Change and engagement communications plans and artifacts and keep your own knowledge of best practices and new relevant developments up to date

  • You will act as a source of knowledge in area of expertise, defining and communicating important initiatives across department and functions as well as networking with colleagues and experts, supporting prioritisation activities and providing strategy and change management advice and serving as a resource for others by sharing experience and coaching within and beyond project team and own function

Essential Requirements: Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

  • Knowledge and experience in delivering transformation change strategies & governance

  • Strong communications & influencing skills

  • Strong organizational awareness, engagement, alignment and customer orientation

  • Knowledge of Change Management Standards, Best Practices and Methodologies

  • Good knowledge of project management principles and experience managing large complex cross-functional, mid to long-term projects

  • Able to develop short and long-term plans to execute strategic priorities

  • Facilitation and coaching experience

  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve issues

Desirable Requirements:

  • Professional change management certification

  • Project management experience
