#### Position Description:
Lenovo, a member of the Fortune Global 250, is the fastest growing PC maker in

our legacy of delivering innovative solutions through our multiple lines of
business. Within our Intelligent Device Group, Lenovo is seeking a Channel
Account Manager to work with our Business Partners based in Minnesota and the
upper Midwest.
This Channel Account Manager (CAM) will work with a group of Business Partners
and be responsible for delivering revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction
with a group of Solution Providers and Value Added Resellers. These partners
are composed of a mix of our Platinum, Gold, and Silver Partners. The CAM
will be responsible for driving Lenovo's relationship and transactional
business as well as new business initiatives through a standard two-tier
distribution model.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker comfortable developing, adapting,
and executing a strategic engagement plan for each partner and their overall
territory. S/he works well in a matrixed environment with peers in sales,
product development, marketing, services and supply chain, is results
oriented, and driven by excellence. S/he understands how technology resellers
operationalize their business and is able to create relationships through
executive level engagements. The CAM will also develop strategies to help the
Business Partner grow their strategic business initiatives with Lenovo sales,
as well as communicate and understand return on investment and industry
trends. A strong understanding of reseller programs and incentives is
required. Creative thinking and the ability to create short and long term
business plans to drive business is necessary. The CAM must be able to
position the Lenovo products, and channel value proposition. The CAM must
thrive in a dynamic and velocity driven environment.
#### Position Requirements:
\- 5+ years of channel sales experience in a dynamic, highly competitive sales
environment
\- Breadth and depth of understanding channel sales, programs, two tier
Distribution, VAR and MSP operating models
\- Has demonstrated achievement in quota carrying positions
\- Ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business and IT
contact across organizations
\- Extensive experience with channel partners, service providers, or end
customer dynamics in a technology environment
\- Strong focus on sales skills and the ability to build high level
relationships with partners
\- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements at a high
velocity concurrently
\- Technology Industry knowledge (PC Industry preferred)
\- Excellent business and financial acumen required
\- Bachelors degree required
\- Travel 40% and work from home/remotely
Position is located in Minneapolis Minnesota. Most travel is within MN and
the adjacent region.
