Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Channel Business Execution Manager to join our Channel team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA location. Position Overview: Eaton is currently looking for an exceptional Channel Business Execution Manager to further establish, manage and execute all aspects of Eaton’s North American channel partner authorization and agreements and business development funds related to our Eaton Advantage incentive programs. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of implementing, communicating, and facilitating policies related to our Eaton Channel authorizations and agreements. This includes onboarding, conversion execution and product portfolio/division authorizations and deauthorizations. This employee will also have responsibility for managing all business development funds related to channel programs. This includes the Eaton Distributor Advantage Program (EDAP), utility Distributor Advantage Program (UDAP) and other strategic channel partner programs. This position requires a deep understanding of key Eaton and Electrical Sector strategies; a pragmatic decision-making approach and direct style of communication with internal/external stakeholders; familiarity with key channel partners; knowledge of the Eaton Distributor Advantage Program and the Oracle Sales Cloud tool, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new platforms and processes as needs evolve; and close collaboration with key leadership and numerous internal teams to implement channel policies and programs. In this function you will: You will establish and drive all channel policies and processes as related to channel partner authorization You will manage the onboarding of all US channel partners for Legacy Eaton (Vista). This includes assisting field sales with channel partner application requests and approvals in Target Account Planner (TAP) and ensuring that accounts are setup correctly in Vista. You will administer the ‘How to Buy’ channel partner locator on Eaton.com for all participating businesses. Also serve as a subject matter expert for other ‘How to Buy’ data integrations being used on Eaton.com. You will act as the key contact to manage channel’s vendor relationship with Staples for all channel partner merchandising programs (new distributor kits, calendar program, etc.), providing direction related to business development funds & channel partner needs You will provide ongoing maintenance for US channel partners in Vista including parent/child relationships, product module authorization, stock rotation returns, minimum billing thresholds, and general account maintenance. This includes determining how any changes impact other systems such as the ‘How to Buy’ channel partner locator and EDAP. You will manage all aspects of the business development fund portion of the US Eaton Distributor Advantage Program (EDAP). This includes: Calculate all business development fund amounts and create funds in a timely fashion at the beginning of each program year Complete all Oracle Sales Cloud access requests for both internal and external users Manage the business development fund claim submittal and approval processes Perform a final audit of all business development fund claims to ensure proper proof of performance, fund availability, etc. Coordination and implementation of any fund adjustments required related to program guidelines, conversions, etc. Act as the single point-of-contact for Channel Directors, both regional and national, & all internal sales teams to manage business development fund budgets for key national and strategic channel partners, including any specific distributor programs Also serve as the single-point-of-contact for all US channel partners related to the management and spend of their business development funds Collaborate with the Channel Marketing & Communications Manager to implement programs to promote strategic business development fund usage Manage programs directly related to BDF spend (merchandising, displays, etc.) including approving orders and processing invoices from outside vendors Ensure that all EDAP-enrolled distributors are setup for payment in Oracle Financials and addressing any payment issues as they arise Provide support in some of these areas as related to the Canadian Eaton Distributor Advantage Program (EDAP) You will assist with supporting the business development fund portion of the Utility Distributor Advantage Program (UDAP) for both US & Canad You will manage other business development fund related programs such as the Contractor Advantage Program and US Mechanical Channel Partner program You will provide general support to the EDAP Channel Incentive Program Manager. This includes processing any EDAP incentive payments over $250K and other channel program-related payments as needed. Why work at Eaton? Five years of experience in sales or marketing Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Must have the ability to travel (10%) Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Vista, Sales Reporting, Power BI Minimum of three years of experience working with contracts, contract management and related processes. Preferred qualifications: Experience working with manufacturer representatives and related commercial interactions A working knowledge of Eaton systems including Vista, Sales Reporting, Oracle, MyEaton, SAP, Markview is highly desirable.
