As a Channel Offering Product Manager within EMEA Electrical Services organization you will be responsible for the Critical Power services offering for the channel customers by developing and launching an attractive portfolio with a strong value proposition designed for the channel customers (Authorized Service Partners, IT channel distributors). The goal is to grow service revenues through channels in coordination with channel managers, business development managers, country and service sales teams in the countries.

As core activity of the portfolio development and management, you will lead our value proposition exploration to ensure the relevance of our new solutions and their feasibility considering local teams’ capabilities.

The initial focus for the channel offering will be mainly Power Quality division products (UPSs, Batteries…) and related service offerings. At a later stage rest of EATON product portfolio will be addressed.

Your key deliverables:

  • Explore EATON value proposition to Authorized service partners (ASP) and monetization strategy for the collaboration as part of ASP framework design
  • You will perform internal and external validation of ASP framework to be developed
  • You will lead development of business infrastructure to enable ASP program launch (partner program portal, content, tech support line, newsletter, certification process, trainings…)
  • You will drive effective offering and ASP program implementation in target countries. Implementation speed to be adapted to central team and local capability (waves approach)
  • Set-up periodical implementation status review with target countries and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration to introduce the new offering
  • You will work in close coordination with Product and software product lines to revamp channel offering value proposition and offering design
  • Lead business case formulation to estimate growth expectations and justify product development investment
  • You will coordinate with sales and marketing functions the sales enablement infrastructure development that will allow us to deploy the new offering within target markets (marketing toolkit, eaton.com, web configurators, C-PRO pricing process, recurrent revenue monetization…) 
  • Coordinate adaptation or development when required of post-order delivery processes and tools related to new offering
  • You will lead pricing strategy definition involving local teams and manage pricing for channel offering considering each market situation and country team feedback

 

Qualifications

Are you?

Required:

  • Technical education from an accredited institution or equivalent professional degree, preferred
  • Strong English capabilities. Additional European languages as a plus (FR, ES, DE..)
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in developing commercial and strategic relationships especially with channel customers (B2B); Important to have work experience working with IT distributors and/or EWS& product management experience and new offering launch as a plus.
  • Services background, managing sales operations – preferred
  • Excellent and Comprehensive knowledge of IT channel and EWS sales process
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical product application and technical specifications sold through distributors
  • Familiarity with software offering development and management
  • Demonstrated experience driving cross-countries initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills with a strategic mindset 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience of working in a matrix organization in a multi-cultural environment 
  • Self-driven person able to manage activities in his/her own area of responsibility to deliver expected business impact while ensuring a close coordination with rest of team members and stakeholders
  • Energetic, highly motivated, can-do attitude individual who enjoy in networking and establishing relationships
  • Experience in managing partners, supervising day-to-day activities, checking performance
  • Strategic thinking in creating/enhancing value for partners and productize the offering
  • Customer oriented mindset always driving customer and channel partner value creation and corresponding monetization
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to visually present and formulate key conclusions to management team
  • Proficient in creative problem solving, proactive conflict resolution and managing priorities
    Resilient person who can work with demanding deadlines adapting proactively to changing environment to deliver expected outcome
  • Support and promote a collaborative teamwork environment within area of influence
  • Ability to apply project management methodologies and strategies to reduce potential initiatives risk throughout the duration of the activity.
