Help evolve the relations with one of Microsoft’s largest OEM partners worldwide. Leading the partner relationship for our US OEM business with a Multi-National (MNA) OEM will require strong relationships across the Microsoft worldwide OEM team, the MNA sales team, the IW and Server business groups, and the Local OEM team. The ability to drive a cross group, cross functional team will define the success of the leader. The team’s focus is influencing attach and mix on Windows PCs, and attaching Office and Server to the machines that move through the indirect channel.
Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: The US OEM leader for an MNA is a key role responsible for end-to-end planning, business development, engagement, enablement, and day-to-day execution. This person will be responsible to manage and grow the US OEM MNA business.
- Execution Leadership: This leader and the team are responsible for significant US revenue in addition to being a critical contributor to multiple US scorecard goals. Success will be measured by revenue performance, attach performance, CPE and business strategy including future direction and people goals.
- People Leadership: This is a US key business and people leadership role. The role will directly manage a senior team of Microsoft Partner Account Managers.
- Strategic Leadership: the role owns aligning Microsoft Strategy across the Cloud, Devices and Services to the MNA’s strategy of moving towards a more solution driven sale. This requires a deep understanding of the strategic direction for both companies and a strong ability to influence directions of individual segments to ensure the whole is better than the parts.
- Relationship Leadership: This role requires significant navigation skills across MNA Executives and Microsoft VP/CVP level Executives. This role is also accountable for ensuring a great customer/partner experience.

- Revenue
- Subsidiary Scorecard results across multiple Client, Office and Server based targets
- Worldwide OEM CPE results
- Workgroup Health Index (WHI)
Contacts: Frequent contact and interaction with all levels of management within US Sub leadership, the Business Groups and WW OEM organizations. This includes all levels of product management, product marketing, sales, technical management, finance and executive management. The candidate will drive business plans through strong partner engagement and must be comfortable calling on and presenting to Vice President executive levels at the MNA and Microsoft.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years related work experience in the PC industry including channel/partner sales or sales management
- 2+ years of people management experience
Additional Qualifications:
- Proven success in a highly leveraged sales model including business development, partner management and business planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills.
- Must be a strategic leader/thinker, action-oriented, customer focused, deal well with ambiguity, managing change, have solid planning/organizational skills, and be effective at managing systems, processes and people.
- Working effectively with peers and cross-group is critical; strong interpersonal skills and organizational agility are a necessity.
- This is not a technical role, but baseline understanding of Microsoft solutions, Microsoft products, the MNA’s products, IT enterprise business decision makers, SMB customers and consumers are important
- Experience working with large organizations
Location: This position can be based in multiple US cities, with a preference for Washington State or California. Approximately 10-15% domestic travel will be required.
