professionals to join our Inside Sales Team in Morrisville, NC as a Channel
Workstation Sales Representative. This is a partner-client facing, high-growth
sales role requiring deep industry experience, the ability to identify,
cultivate, and close net new business, and expertise working large deals at
the C level. We are looking for a hunter skill-set with a successful and
proven track record to take their career, the territory, and our clients to
the next level. The candidate must be able to position Lenovo product and
channel value proposition. A strong working knowledge of the VAR, Distribution
& various channel strategies is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be aggressive, goal-oriented, articulate, and possess
sound phone skills. They should be proficient in being able to sell the value
of Workstation and associated solutions. A strong personality with the desire
to reach high performance goals is a must. This position will require travel,
estimated at 10-20%.
As a Channel Workstation Sales Representative you will be responsible for
working with acquisition accounts, uncovering opportunities, selling the
benefits of the Workstation products, and selling against the competition.
Account Representatives will configure, price, negotiate and quote sales
solutions as well as provide, proactive follow-up, product information and
overall account support via the telephone.
• Build partnerships with existing, current and new partner sales reps by
coordinating the efforts of sales, opportunity management, marketing and pre
and post sales technical support to maximize Revenue and Margin for Lenovo
Workstation products.
• Builds & executes operational plans for Workstation products and options.
• Owns ongoing analysis of metrics & business performance to produce weekly
report for workstation business performance & relevant actions and
recommendations.
• Assess & mitigate risks / issues through effective contingency plans.
• Experience in cold-calling important in order to identify and pursue new
acquisition opportunities - plan and execute acquisition activities in the
workstation area in agreement with sales / account teams.
• Maintains competitor analysis to identify business opportunities, provide
insightful & actionable outputs across products, markets & competitors -
includes product positioning & SWOT analysis.
• Delivers Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to sales & marketing teams
within partner communities, on both technology & products. Provides monthly /
quarterly road map updates to relevant extended teams.

#### Position Requirements:
• 2 - 3+ years of professional inside or outside sales experience in a
technology field or IT Industry is required. Must have had a quota carrying
sales position.
Preferred Requirements:
• High level of interpersonal skills and strong negotiation skills
• Must have the ability to penetrate, acquire, and transition opportunities
• Working knowledge of IT industry, ability to learn and present hardware &
services portfolio
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• High level of flexibility, self-reliance
