Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all obligations pertaining to charter parties and CoA (Contract of Affreightment) are duly met and interests of the company are not compromised
• In charge of all operational aspects of LNG vessel’s chartered by the company
• Liaise with brokers, charterers, oil terminal, agents and surveyors
• Handling post fixture and voyage calculation, claims, demurrage computation and settlement
• Maintain records of and voyage schedules & booking lists, coordination with Post Fixture and Chartering teams on operation issues
• Updating data, liaise with operation, ship agents and marine office for vessel details, schedules and updates
• Update, maintain and provide reports and statistics data to LNG team and management for market analysis and strategic decision-making purposes
• Keep records of port disbursement, negotiating agents commission and final settlement 
• Monitoring of vessel’s operational daily status
• Budget Planning and reviewing
• Provide regular information and to assist with the compilation of reports
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies/Transportation Management, Shipping Operations and Management
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience from the trading / shipping / freight forwarding / chartering / Operation industry
• Good understanding of charter party terms/tanker operations
• Dynamic, committed, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in handling bulk liquid chemicals/chemical tankers
• Proactive team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of both spoken and written in English and Chinese
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by superior
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Chartering Manager
