Your creative flair and passion for food will lead your culinary team to superior food experiences to our guests. Though your effective leadership and innovation, you will create concepts and menus that make SO/ Sotogrande’s restaurants an obligatory visit.


What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Executive Chef | F&B Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Accountable for managing the day to day operations of the kitchen with active presence on the floor, leading your team to deliver service excellence.
  • Accountable for driving revenue and profit through the development and implementation of menu design, strategies, practices and promotions while in keeping with the overall concept.
  • Train and lead the team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed.
  • Maintain the safety and sanitation of the kitchen
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective operation of the hotel.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team as a commis and chef.

Your experience and skills include: 

  • Demonstrated passion for the industry and guests
  • Knowledge of current trends
  • Previous leadership experience in Kitchen/Culinary environment
  • Proven ability to drive revenues and profit, without sacrificing colleague and customer experiences
  • Proven ability in menu concept and design
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Spanish & English knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent work ethic with a high degree of responsibility
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and build relationships
