Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and responsible for food production and management of all food while taking ownership for the development and quality of the kitchen areas.
- Ensure that all menus are created using guest feedback, industry trends, competitive intelligence, seasonal offerings and all service standards
- Ambassador for the exceptional cuisine that is hallmark of the guest dining experience for all day dining and signature F&B outlets
- To monitor and check on a daily basis the all food stores and refrigerated areas and suggest, where necessary, correct storage methods to comply with Health and Safety regulations as discussed. Ensure that all kitchen operations are compliant with legislated food safety regulations
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure.
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or related discipline an asset with at least 5 years of experience in the kitchen
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Food & Beverage/Hospitality profession.
