The Hotel Danieli, a luxury collection hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie.
The role reports to the Executive Chef and will be part of a strong and united Kitchen team of the ristorante La Terrazza and the Bistrot Danieli for the summer season 2020 – approx. from March/April to September/October (40 hours per week along 5 working days and 2 days off).

Historical and favorite place of several high profile personalities that made its history such as Richard Wagner, Emile Zola e Greta Garbo – the Hotel Danieli was awarded Luxury Waterfront Hotel of the Year in 2017.
Moreover, the right candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the most admired Chef for the so-called fusion cuisine of regional and traditional dishes where the product quality and the technique are fundamental.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
• Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers


What we’re looking for

• Experience in the role in 5* hotels or fine dining restaurant and understanding of luxury standards
• Ability to manage independently the assigned partie, food orders and coordinate commis and demi-chef de cuisine
• Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality
• Previous kitchen experience is a big plus


This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
