1. Responsible for the disposition of on-conforming compound batches. Recommends compound adjustments to meet physical properties of final products and to improve procession of compounds through production equipment.

2. Assists various department managers and supervisors in the identification and solution of processing and control problems. Determines and initiates corrective action when deviations from specification, quality and good practices are observed in the manufacturing process.

3. In charge of extrusion process, organize process development, familiar with extrusion tooling, make sure production running well.

4. Issues timely and accurate reports and letters to document and adequately communicate the pertinent observations, conclusions and recommendations of all process studies and deviations from specification.

5. Maintains a close and cooperative relationship with Divisional, Technical, Quality Assurance and Purchasing personnel.

6. Serves as a technical expert in areas of mixing, extrusion, curing and testing of compounds.

7. Understands the job duties of the Senior Process Technician, Process Technician, and the Raw Material Analyst.

8. May be required to perform the above jobs upon request.

9. Enforces company polices and procedures.

10. May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

11. Performs other related duties.

Request：

1. Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering required

2. Three years of technical experience preferred.

3. Compounding knowledge is preferred.

4. Extrusion experience is priority.

5. Experience with rubber testing machines, raw materials used in compounds, processing of rubber through mills, Banbury, extruders and curing process.
