A manufacturer located is looking for potential candidate to join their elite team.

Chemist / Assistant Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting gold content determination using Fire assay and / or ICP/AA method
• Issuing testing report and provide technical services to customers
• Ensuring the laboratory in compliance with HOKLAS requirements according to ISO 17025 international standard
• Following SOPs and QA/QC requirements for routine tasks
• Performing sample analysis and reporting the assay results
• Calibrating balances and 5S requirements

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in chemistry, analytical science, chemical technology or other related disciplines
• Solid technical skill in using fire assay method and operating analytical instrument (ICP, AA, autotitrator and etc.) is an advantage
• 1 to 2 years working experience in analytical chemistry laboratory is preferable
• Meticulous, initiative and analytical mind
• Candidate with less experience / lower qualification (i.e. IVE graduate) will also be considered (Fresh graduate will also be welcomed)
