Objectives:

Support lab activities for Functional Coatings – Haptic (EC/MNH) with focus on Asia Pacific. Adaptation and customization of EC/MNH’s product technologies to satisfy regional customer demands.

Main Tasks:

Support new color/product development (e.g. regarding customer requests) Work closely with Asian & European EC/MNH team to solve customer issues to improve satisfaction Provide technical guidance to production and QC to ensure high product quality, and document management Support new technology customization and commercialization (e.g. post-mold spraying or pre-mold spraying etc.) Support new business development from technical regards Lab maintenance: Keep lab operation well-organized and tidy EHS: Act within the EHS regulations

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor degree or above. Working Experience: Coating lab technician or similar. At least 3 years of relevant experience in the coatings industry. Experience with color matching, coating formulation and application techniques, substrate knowledge, raw material knowledge and technical specifications. Technical & Professional Knowledge: Good team player and ownership Creative and open-minded Customer oriented Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel)
