To underpin our commitment to serve patients, Amgen is hiring in our Small Molecule Externalization an Outsourcing Operations Manager. The successful candidate will provide support for all our day-to-day operations associated with the externalization of our Small Molecules Research efforts such as, but not limited to sourcing of raw materials, quotation requests, purchase orders submission, invoicing, shipping and import/export processes. He/she will provide regular updates and collaborate with other team members as well with external suppliers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Some organic chemistry knowledge preferred but not required
• Excellent communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills
• Experienced and proficient with all current technologies and platforms (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, Teams,…)
• Demonstrated abilities in prioritizing requests and workload, managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, tracking and reporting the status of assignments and activities, and resolving problems with limited oversight
• Ability to work in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment and to prioritize projects of greater urgency and importance under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain professional relationships, partner with colleagues, and achieve required business outcomes
