Overview:From middle school onwards, our students engage in advanced coursework, setting high expectations while establishing a solid foundation in core subjects, revisiting and reinforcing concepts in greater depth each year to prepare for entry into honors and Advanced Placement levels starting in ninth grade.

As a Chemistry teacher, you build upon this strong foundation, focusing on the fundamentals of chemistry and scientific inquiry through exploration of the structure and properties of matter, organization of the periodic table, and laboratory skills. This includes covering topics such as chemical bonding, conservation of matter, stoichiometry, chemical reactions, and atomic structure. You incorporate student-guided lab experiences to further enhance student understanding.

Qualification:
• A Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject or related field
o Master’s or higher is preferred
• A minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher in a classroom
