We are seeking an experienced project manager to join the Chief Data Office who will assist in our BCBS 239 program (Principles for effective risk data aggregation and reporting) working directly with stakeholders in Risk Management, Finance and Global Functions Technology to execute against our regulatory commitments. Candidate will address issues across key programs and deliverables, translating CDO strategy and goals into actionable plans, assist in the development of policies, coordinate deliverables, manage execution risk, develop project plans and ensure delivery.
The successful candidate will work across the organization to help define project plans and business requirements, partner with stakeholders to identify risks and issues, partner with technology to ensure design and build requirements are being met and coordinate status reporting and senior management presentations ensuring clear and concise communications.
The successful candidate will be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, and have good interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a project manager
- Experience with or exposure to regulatory initiatives such as BCBS 239, CCAR, Dodd-Frank, Volcker, Resolution Planning
- Excellent skills in written communication, presentation, influencing others, negotiations, and working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams
- Understanding of IT principles and the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of capital markets and asset classes
- Substantial experience in any of the following disciplines: risk management, finance, treasury systems in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience in Financial Management concepts and supporting systems is a substantial plus.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to facilitate discussions and drive group meetings to arrive at consensus
- Strong track record of delivery of complex, inter-disciplinary programs
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple deliverables and ad-hoc requests
- Proactive approach to raising issues and risks
- Demonstrated management experience in a matrix team environment
- PMP designation highly desirable
- Well above average proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proficiency in all other Microsoft Office tools
