Purpose
Chief Developer and IT Architect to work in the development of new services.
Tasks and Responsabilities
As a Chief Developer/IT Architect to support the new application, these tasks include:
- Designs IT solutions for business problema
- Designs software architecture by understanding end to end business requirements.
- Design algorithms which can be used by applications.
- Manages the product's lifecycle to define a strategy for reducing technical debt and complexity
- Elaborates technical requirements and documentation of non-functional requirements including: availability, performance, scalability, resiliency, security, etc.
- Deeply understands the technical requirements and product architecture to decide the technology stack, frameworks, platform, third party frameworks/platform, which can be used to build the solution
- Designs how the application will look, what the modules will be, and how they interact with each other using modelling tools and techniques
- Ensures scalability and maintenance of the product in future
- Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology.
- Be responsive and decisive on adjusting our product architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolve
- Develops technology road maps for future system architecture, models and prototypes, as well as business and user requirements
Responsibilities:
- Resolves technical issues, to ensure that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated
- Defines the development tools and environment, to provide technical support and technical quality control.
- Acts as link between the Product Owner and the application developers.
- Creates HLD for demands
- Creates validates and approves software requirement specifications
- Resolves incidents, detects problems and documents solution
Education
- University degree (diploma, master) in domain of computer science, information systems or mathematics.
Languages:
- Fluent English mandatory
- Fluent German desirable
Requirements and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience as an Application Developer or similar role.
- At least 3 years of experience as an IT Architect and related activities.
Required IT-Skills and experience:
- Experience in Application Development
- Experience in Software Architecture and Algorithms.
- An advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise architectures
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles
- Profound knowledge of software and technology infrastructure,
- Fine knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Must be skillful in developing enterprise level software and infrastructure solutions
- Good understanding of new technologies.
- Container Technologies (Docker & DockerCompose)
- Good understanding of IT security and Data security (esp. OAUTH2)
- Data modelling and storage
- Good knowledge of Performance
- Good knowledge of automation in quality assurance, integration, and deployment
- Knowledge of Free and open-source software

Aditional Information:
Required high flexibility to travel and spend time abroad, on a business trip basis. For the initial “ramp up” phase (2-3 months), it’s expected to spend around 3-4 days per weeks abroad in Germany, to learn about the system and processes and work packages together with the central team. Afterwards a more remote working model is possible, but still some travels might be required.
However, currently planning of transition activities are under preparation and once the interview is performed more information about the approach will be provided.
