- Lead the Finance Department and oversee the financial operations and performance of CUHKMC to ensure meeting the corporate objectives;
- Develop/ implement finance strategies and business model, direct and control company’s financial resources to support its development plans, business objectives and maintain its financial health;
- Develop/ implement finance policies and guidelines to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with legislative regulations and accounting principles;
- Drive business financial performance, provide strategic commercial/ finance input to support investment and management decisions; undertake financial analysis to provide insights and foresights to businesses;
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of the financial reports (such as profit and loss accounts, balance sheet, management financial reports, regulatory and donor reports) and compliance with company’s policies and statutory requirements;
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with banks and other financial institutions;
- Work with Chief Operating Officer on business development; and collaborate with senior executives in the pursuit of mission, vision, values and goals of CUHKMC.
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
- Professional qualification in Accounting gained from recognised professional bodies (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA); holder of CFA qualification is preferred
- Over 15 years’ relevant working experience in financial management of which 7 years must be in a position with senior management responsibility with proven results leading high performing financial management functions
- Experience in hospital/ health care industry is preferred
- Proven experience in driving financial performance, pricing strategies and plans
- A leader with the ability to combine high level strategic decision making with detailed planning and project management, and be adept at working in a team and dealing with dynamic issues.
- An excellent communicator with strong business acumen, sophisticated stakeholder relationship management skill and high standards of integrity and credibility;
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
