Job Description
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Supervise and set directions to the Finance and Accounting function and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.
- Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to cash flow management, tax planning and management, budget and financial control/ reporting, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
- Ensure accounting systems are in accordance to PRC accounting and tax standards.
- Provide financial analyses and recommendations for management decision.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports per IFRS.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional qualification (ACCA).
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience.
- At least five years of financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations in China, preferably with exposure and experience in listing a company.
- Well verse in PRC accounting standards, prior work experience with Big 4 accounting firms and/ or IPO experience added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements.
- Good communication skill, fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese languages (In order to liaise with the English and Chinese speaking associates)
- ERP implementation experience preferred.
- Strong management reporting experience.
- Business minded and able to contribute to strategic management decision making.
- Detailed, hands-on and an analytical mindset.
- Strong leadership & supervisory skills and a team player.
