Pay
HK$190,576 to HK$203,894 per month (including Monthly Allowance)

Job
Reporting to the Director (Cluster Services), the incumbent will be responsible for the management of the Chinese Medicine (CM) Department and development of CM service related to the Hospital Authority (HA). He/She will lead the CM team of staff to establish service strategy including the development of CM Clinics, research in CM and Integrative Medicine (IM) as well as training policy for the provision of CM service. He/She will develop strategic collaboration with CM Hospital (CMH), and coordinate with partnering institutions and help build relations with the CM institutions / service counterparts in the Mainland.
1. Provide strategic support on overall CM policy initiative.
2. Steer and develop strategy for the development of CM Clinics and drive the implementation of CM projects.
3. Oversee the provision of CM services at CM Clinics.
4. Formulate training strategy for healthcare professionals of CM Clinics and Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine (ICWM) Programme to enhance competency for CM development.
5. Develop sustainable ICWM programme within HA hospitals.
6. Develop strategic collaboration between CM Clinics and CMH.
7. Overall management of the CM Department.

Requirements
1. Tertiary education preferably with healthcare professional qualification.
2. At least 10 years’ senior management experience in healthcare services.
3. Good knowledge of the operation of public hospital system in Hong Kong and/or overseas.
4. Excellent command of written and spoken English, and Chinese including Putonghua.
5. Strong leadership qualities as well as excellent interpersonal communication skill.
6. Analytical, innovative and committed to achieving strategic results.
7. Competency in all rounded communication with internal and external parties.

Remarks
1. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
2. Appointment will be on contract terms for a period of 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
3. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
