Job Description

The Mobile Client Products team is looking for a candidate to fill the critical role of Chief Product Marketing Storyteller for a 2025/2026 product on the Client Computing Group (CCG) mobile client roadmap (PCs). We are looking for a rare hybrid of an individual who can comfortably traverse the worlds of technology and creativity to bring to life a compelling and authentic product story and championing that story throughout Intel, our partner organizations and external customers and partners.

You will be responsible for:

  • Exciting and motivating every OEM to design in the product
  • Work closely with the Intel software enabling team to deliver a story that resonates with Independent Software Vendors and prompting them to work with us to enable and optimize for the product
  • Collaborate with the Intel retail team on getting retailers excited to assort the product on shelf and ensuring that the corporate marketing teams understand the product story and value so that they can develop end user facing strategies and materials to inspire an emotional desire for every consumer on Earth to want to buy the product.
  • This is a high visible position with cradle to grave accountability for the product.
  • Responsible for developing innovative and compelling marketing stories for the product.
  • Develop strategies for how the story gets told to different audiences including internal stakeholders, customers, partners, tech and mainstream press.
  • Partnering with field sales teams to engage with customers throughout the product life cycle to: understand the customers portfolio and how the marketing product story may be customized for them and help them be successful
  • Get the customers excited about the product and the story
  • Develop strategies and execute plan to jointly amplify the story via proof points at launch and post launch
  • Partner closely with the corporate marketing team to educate them on the product story and inspire and motivate to scale out / spool up the story into the Intel end user facing marketing machine.

As the Chief Product Marketing Storyteller, you are expected to have strong influencing ability and top-notch written and presentation skills. You must have strong ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment and be able to influence a wide variety of groups and stakeholders. Must be comfortable presenting to/interfacing with executive management to drive/influence business decisions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and with a strong capability to turn technical details into the so-what.

The candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits/skills:

  • Natural proven storytelling ability and a knack for taking complex technical subject matter and simplifying it for broader or less experienced audiences
  • Experience in developing a diverse set of product marketing content including product collateral, sales presentations, sales training materials, etc.
  • A confident sense of visual storytelling and a great eye for design
  • The courage to try things that have never been tried before
  • The salesmanship to sell things that have never been tried before, to internal and external audiences
  • Must be responsible with a strong sense of accountability. Simply said: if you say you will do it, you do it. If you see a problem, you own it.
     


Qualifications


You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or in an Engineering discipline or related field.
  • MBA required if Bachelor's is in engineering or non marketing/communications types of degree
  • 6+ years in a content product marketing or related role


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in consumer technology product marketing
