About the Venture
We are excited to launch our newest Stealth Venture - a thriving community and marketplace where industries, technologies and professional services come together to innovate in new ways. We help organisations leverage the proven solutions of others to solve their own business problems, reducing duplicate effort and inspiring new approaches to innovation.
Our platform hosts a variety of proprietary solutions and curated content from leading industry players, startups, vendors and universities. We aim to inspire and foster collaboration between a community of innovators both online through our platform, and offline through events and relationships.
The Venture is being built by BCG Digital Ventures (“BCGDV”) and is backed by leading industrial players across the world. The business is due to launch in early 2020, and will be based in London, UK with some international travel.
What will the role involve?
As Head of Product you who will own the product vision and strategy beyond MVP to continuously refine outstanding priorities and align our focus toward product-market fit.
Given your experience as a product leader, you must also be able to foresee sizeable business, operational and technical risks well before they arise to ensure minimum impact on the deliverability of our product and our business.
As Head of Product you will
- Help scale the team, also by leveraging your network of relevant, potential candidates
- Drive the integration of third party services onto the platform
- Manage internal product development efforts while closely coordinating
- schedules with external third party services
- Work with the CEO and CTO to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Design and operate on a data- and testing-driven approach to excellence
- Track, evaluate, create visibility around, and act on KPIs
- Define the feature set, architect and drive projects end-to-end
- Research and concept the delivery of new features
- Work directly with our UX- and design specialists to find the best solutions
- Leverage our corporate partner’s assets strategically and maximise impact
Desired Expertise & Experience
- Strong B2B experience
- E-commerce or relevant online funnel optimisation experience
- Literacy in complex growth marketing stacks
- Experience or deep knowledge of Blockchain
- Experience scaling up a business
- Experience with marketplace products
- 7+ years experience in product management; 3+ years of leadership
- Technical background and deep understanding of platforms, APIs, 3rd party integrations, graph algorithms
- Strong experience through all stages of product lifecycle - from scratch to scaling existing businesses
