Job Description
#### Position Description:


The AP Global Accounts Chief Technology Officer (CTO), reports to Global
Account management and is responsible for establishing the company’s
technology vision and engagements with customer executive level to Fortune 500
customers.  The CTO is the AP team's top technology executive, playing an
integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future
growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Identify opportunities and risks for the business.
• Provide inputs for research and development (R&D).
• Define and communicate company values and standards for acquiring or
developing systems, equipment, or software.
• Customer Executive engagement.
• Monitor technology and social trends that could impact the company.
• Participate in management decisions about vertical business
• Communicate the company's technology strategy to partners, management,
investors and employees.
• Maintain current information about technology standards and compliance
regulations.
• Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across
the organization.
• Share knowledge, mentor, and educate the organization’s investors,
management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders with regard to the
company’s technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
• Supervise recruitment, training, retention, and technical organization in
accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget
requirement.
• Promote achievement of the company’s business goals within a context of
community collaboration by developing policies for sharing software code,
technological innovation, business, processes, and other intellectual.
• Contribute to open source software development, standardization of
technologies, and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers
outside the company, releasing code, presenting at conferences, and writing
for publication (online or offline).

#### Position Requirements:


Formal Education & Certification
• University degree in the field of computer science, business administration,
or another rigorous discipline.
• An advanced degree or industrial certification is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience
• 15–20 years of IT experience in Retail industry, either as technology
provider or end user.  Regional & Global experience is an advantage.
• Expertise in Retail store operations, Point of Sales, end user device
compute to data center infrastructure.  Knowledge on IoT, AI, Edge computing &
Software Defined Data Center.
• Deep technical knowledge of Retail solutions and ecosystem.
• Customer Executive engagement & Network in the industry
• Experience with startup companies is an advantage
• Communities, Open Source, Industry panel/presentation recognition.
