Job Description
The primary function of the role is to keeping the statutory books in accordance with local accounting rules; supervision of the accounting records concerning fixed assets; statutory book, accounts reconciliation and preparing balance sheet reconciliations. Execute all required processes to record, analyze, and report the financials of Eaton LLC Moscow, Russia. Responsible for all accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements; filing of statutory accounts and all tax declarations including corporate income tax returns, VAT returns, payroll realted declarations, etc. Executes monthly financial processes including day to day accounting (all parts of accounting), month-end closing, analyzing and management reporting, journal processing, balance reconciliations. Submits all needed declarations to local tax authorities. Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts and financial statements and reports (including local tax reporting), monitors and analyzes cash flow, supports the management in distribution of funds. Focal point of contact for internal and external audit process and tax audits . Liaise with the Tax auditors for the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual corporate income tax returns Provides financial support including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget, organizes and delivers forward looking financial reports to management Provide substantial help to the Finance Manager and senior management, taking active role in monthly reporting/forecast process in ENCORE as well as yearly budget process Prepare, review, analyze and interpret all financial reports for the review of the Controller Maintains, develops and improve the existing accounting systems and lead the implementation of the new ERP if the case Responsible for documenting, standardizing and improving internal accounting processes in line with statutory , company activity and corporate requirements Substitutes directly or through team resourses any unavailable accounting team member and acts as a substitute for the Finance Manager (finance controller) Support the financial controller for US GAAP closing process and the necessary adjustments in ORACLE and local ERP, Takes part in the preparation of monthly account reconciliations process. Support the financial controller in connection with US GAAP/SOX compliance requirements: narratives preparation/reviews, refining the internal control procedures, risk mitigation controls and actions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration 8+ years accounting and finance experience Ability to operate and deliver independently without day-to-day supervision Ability to work across different functions, eager to take on the responsibility and ownership for resolution of problems. In addition the candidate must be action oriented, organized, and intelligent, and have the drive to continuously improve current processes and challenge the current state. Experience in work with government contract is welcome The candidate also must be able to work with senior financial and non-financial management and communicate financial information in a user-friendly manner. Eager to work in a dynamic and complex organization characterized by matrix relations accounting systems Ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operations analysis/reports Possess working knowledge of systems technologies Demonstrable continued personal development in both technical and behavioral areas Knowledge of accounting systems like 1C, Turbo, SAP (nice to have), Kontur etc. Excellent working knowledge of the English language Comfortable with MS Office applications, particularly Excel #LI-IR1 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
