Intel's Global Government Affairs (GGA) division carries out advocacy and lobbying efforts in every market where Intel does business. The organization is responsible for positioning Intel's business-critical infrastructure and leadership as key partners with influential government audiences. Our core priorities include public policy; business support and thought leadership.
The Chief of Staff will serve as the lead strategic advisor and operational expert for the VP of International Government Affairs (IGA), executing a bold vision for IGA's role in our business and industry. Government relations have never been more critical to Intel's success, with a range of urgent policy issues including domestic and international manufacturing incentives, IP protection, and secure supply chains, that will impact our business. The Chief of Staff will build the VP's and IGA team's influence on these issues with critical internal audiences, including Intel's CEO and Executive Leadership Team, as well as with policymakers and external stakeholders.
The Chief of Staff will act as the VP's expert on all things Intel, a key advisor on external issues, and help to execute key priorities:
Advise VP/IGA and staff on how best to execute internal and external influence strategies, navigate Intel's functions and networks, and position IGA as a central driver of business success at a time of dynamic change for our company
Drive operational effectiveness by influencing critical internal stakeholders (communications/legal/PR/ELT), managing key deliverables and projects, and developing sustainable processes for the IGA team
Build VP's reputation by facilitating executive communications and speakership opportunities across a variety of forums and audiences, including internal executive meetings, employee communication meetings, state and federal government forums, meetings with Intel's customers, and external events
Interface with the TA/COS community across GAT and Intel to facilitate alignment and collaboration with other organizations and their executives
Operate in ambiguous and constantly evolving environments with deadline pressure and sensitive information while always maintaining attention to detail, quality, and discretion

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science with 8+ years of relevant work experience
5+ years of experience with the U.S. federal government, especially with legislative affairs, manufacturing, trade policy, or other relevant topics
5+ years of experience driving cross-organizational teams and independently managing diverse assignments
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the government relations ecosystem
International government affairs experience
Extensive Intel business acumen and network

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$121,260.00-$193,880.00

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
