Job Qualifications

Ø Excellent oral and written English Ø Have volunteer experience or exposure to children’s education and/or church ministry, biblical studies Ø Cross-cultural or urban work experience highly desired. Be able to work well with people of different cultural and denominational backgrounds. Ø Personal qualities: willingness to learn, organised, creative, flexible, enthusiastic, tactful, patient, and relational. Be a committed Christian, living a God-honoring life.

Purpose of position
- learn about the inner workings of a church, particularly the day-to-day operations in children and youth ministries (about 65 kids, 10-20/class, 25 youths)
- assist Watermark in implementing an educational program to help kids and youth become followers of Christ. This includes looking after logistics in relation to venue, rosters, curriculum, lesson materials, and database records.
- relate to other volunteers, staff and parents in the ministry
- help provide platforms for families and children in the church body to reach the city with the gospel, whether it is on Sunday or other programs (ie VBS, Easter egg hunts, family outings)
- assist leadership in training and discipleship needs
- as a member of the team, assist with other needs within the church as required

This position is available either on a part time (kids only) or full time basis (kids with youth).
Location: Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong
Training for the position, and discipleship will be provided. Stipend will cover meals and transportation.
