Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end finance accounting and controllership function including general accounting, cost accounting, fixed assets for Garrett China including both Shanghai, Wuhan and holding entities.

• Supervise monthly closing to ensure alignment with US GAAP and on time SAP closing.

• Drive monthly account recon review as well as quarterly Balance Sheet Review with global controller

• Coordinate with external auditor for statutory reporting and internal audit for corporate audit.

• Lead Garrett China SOX initiative to align with global requirement.

• Manage a big accounting team in China as well as BPO Genpact for outsourced finance operations to continuously improve efficiency.

• Ensure Internal control alignment for all business operation relating to accounting transactions. Provide finance guideline for business accounting in terms of new business model and new practice.

• Coordinate with tax and treasury functions in the region to execute related initiative in China

• Support other finance related projects if needed.

  
  

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. CPA is required. MBA is preferred.

• 15+ years of finance related experiences working in multi-national company, auto industry preferred

• Experience in controllership and finance operation is required.

• Strong business partnering and team building and motivation skills.

• Self-motivated and results oriented.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrated leadership, business acumen and strong strategic thinking

• Ability to drive and execute major change initiatives.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions impacting multiple functions.
